ok.... i'm 55 yrs old just lost 6 stone and feeling good.

before I kick the bucket i'd like a tattoo...(i'm the last person you'd expect to get one).

I'd like an anti-government one...F*ck the man etc...

Am I being silly....is this a mid life crisis?.... what do you think?

Any suggestions for a good one?

I'd also like to learn to ride a motorbike, but think I've left it too late.....

be gentle folks..

You are never too old. just do it and don't look back. get on the bike and ride.

Tattoo's are a personal thing spend time on deciding on what you want check out the rep of the your local tattoo studios then go and have a chat they will provide good info and remember it will be with you for the rest of your life.

You're never too old! Pick something you're passionate about, something you've always loved and get it tatted. Also, if these 16 yr old punks can ride 200hp $20,000 crotch rockets, you can learn to ride a motorcycle at your age! Go for it.

There are some good Man City tatts doing the rounds Bob ;). Seriously though you are never too old, live your life mate because it is very short unfortunately. Take your bike training course and ride your motorbike before you get to Old. Good luck with this and top marks for your enthusiasm. :)

go for it m8 if that's what yer fancy although I don't think f*ck the govt across your forehead or anywhere else to be seen would maybe not increase your chances of getting a seat on the local planning committee etc etc choose your tat if its something you can live with for the rest of your life whats it got to do with anyone else oh & well done for losing all that weight m8 a great achievement

It won't be a tattoo to go on show, just for me to know I did it.

get some good training m8 i have had a bike most of my life & am a little older than you i grew up in the days when as teenagers we knew it all & did crazy things on bikes but nowadays there are millions of drivers that dont bother to look any further up the road than the end of their bonnets & seem more than happy to say where did that come from when you are on their cars in a heap there also bad bike riders as well not trying to put you off just hope you stay safe & enjoy 2 wheels m8

What!, no Honda ss50 bob?. The fs1e was a cracking bike in its day m8. Try Aprillia rs50 a small bike but looks stunning. :)

I would ask your local Tattooist to create something I'm sure they wouldn't mind especially when it comes to Anti Government Tatts. google search too mate.

Looks great!

I had 2 tattoos when I was young. Regretted it ever since and now I am 60.
You've managed 55 years without one mate so my advice would be don't do it.

Congratulations on the weight loss

The thing is mate,i've been housebound most of my life, and i'm a very meek person.
Life as ground me down, and I do whatever i'm told without question.
But I've recently had enough,i'm as important as the next person and need to start acting like it.
I'm ready to stick a finger up to 'the man' in my own small insignificant way.
The tattoo won't be seen by anyone else, except my missus (we met when we were both 14)and she's shocked by my recent attitude hehe
I think i'm not going through the menopause just yet :)
