New to zgemma

Last week I purchased a Zgemma-star 2s box with a years gift for £250.
I have been messing about with the settings but being new to this
I am afraid of messing it up. I tried backing it up but I'm not sure if I did it correctly.
Is there a dummys guide to backing up the zgemma box ?
I was thinking of buying a blank zgemma box from amazon for £75 and flashing it myself.
Is there a guide for doing this.

Plenty of info etc to be found on the zgemma boxes in the zgemma section on here mate.

Flashing it is really simple

Format a USB drive to fat 32
Transfer the Zgemma folder from the image download of your choice to the USB stick.
Power down the box and insert the usb stick.
Power on the box and the flashing should start.

Yes for a start also if you can save your Cccam.cfg file as this is where the gift is. Don't do anything until you know you have this file. If you flash and you have not got that file or the details contained in it then kiss bye bye to the channels.
 
Ive done the exact same as a newbie ive got the box and got through most of it from details from the forum. The bit im now stuck on is how to purchase a 'gift'?
 
hi im new to this as well but i think you have a small problem, your gift on your box is proberly not multi room and your server will see you have 2 boxes online?
i bought my own 12 months gift for £14.99 with multi room for up to 4 boxes
but like i said im new to this as well

go on ebay for a 12 month warrenty and install it on your box
to do that go on you tube
 
im looking into getting a zgemma they seem better than openbox
