I'm having trouble getting wireless network in girls bedroom, has anyone tried one of these LOOK HERE are there any good, do they do what they say they will?

not used this myself but just reading the reviews seems like most people were more than satisfied with it. seems just the ticket for what you need.

isnt that a wifi range extemeder, personally, i use tp link powerline adaptors, they ok if you g=have a fixed pc that you cant get internet on, but if your girls are using laptops and other wifi devices i suppose a range extender will good, tp link are very good, i have wireless to router works flawlessly so far

you can pick up a dlink dir 615d for around a tenner, install dwrt on it and then set it up in wireless repeater mode.

I was after something that plugs in, small and the can mess with it, there mobiles don,t get a connection it that part of the house.

I have homeplugs (ethernet) at home cos wireless isn't strong enough for one of the bedrooms upstairs. It works perfectly - one goes into the plug socket and then run ethernet cable from it to your device and the one downtairs has ethernet cable from it into my router.

Mine ( 8 ) have been fine up till about 3 weeks ago. Now my piece of crap "Superhub" keeps dropping them

i think a max of 8 home plugs is allowable, perhaps you are overdoing it..
