I have a self extracting file which has a code inbuilt which i do not know is there any way to find this out.

u can use a program called zippassword recovery
but if it is a simple password it can be quite quick
but if it is a more complex password it can take months

try words like: sex etc...

it normally works...lol
or put in the website addy where you have downloaded the zip.
