can anyone help please turn box on and after about 5 minutes tv switches off ,
turn box and tv off, then both back on every thing working again for another 3/5 minutes and tv switches off but box stays on appreciate any advice thanks

We had this problem in my old house, turned out it was ghosts.
Nothing could be done.

Seems to me the TV no longer sees a signal from the box so goes into standby.

First thing id try is to use another HDMI port on the TV

5 minutes is not long but check any tv eco settings / shutdown timer settings.

Many years ago me and the other half were sat on the settee watching a horror. All of a sudden the tv started changing channels, varying the volume etc;
The pair of us were shitting bricks till I realised I was sat on the remote.
