Yamaha TZR

I've got a Yamamha TZR 250 and its got an oil leak comming from either the transmission or the engine, could it be the gasket?

leaks normally come from gaskets or burst pipes

yeah thats what i was thinking and the pipes fine so its only the gasket nothing major, thanks

p.s u may want to move this in to the bikes ection.

on the yamaha 350 ypvs oil leaking from the transmission usually leaked from the oil seal on the output shaft , u know the shaft that the front sprocket is on. take off the cover on the lefthand side and have a look.u will wreck the gearbox if it runs out of oil
