i tried restoring my pc to an earlier stage using acronis true home and this is the error i get now. i have 2 hard drives on there 1 unused and the other has 2 partitions vista on 1 and my films and other stuff on the other.is there any way i can fix this without losing anything.my vista is legit and i have a vista disk i also have my acronis recovery disk which i made using the software.and i need to no where i turn usb support on in the bios thanks for any info

fixed the prob with vista disk and a repair but still got no sound will try tonight to see what else i can do

The sound issue may well be a driver that has not loaded or is corrupt. Make sure that you have default sound device selected in the sounds and audio devices and also an audio playback device selected
