Which underlay to get for stairs/landing/bedrooms ?

I have narrowed it down to two. Don't want rubber crumb as to hard/heavy.

I was always told to get the best I could afford, so last time it cost us aroung £6 or £7 a sqm and it has done use for 3 carpets on stairs and 2 in living room.... only a couple of bits needed replacing on stairs

i agree. my m8s a fitter and keeps the car full of the gold stuff. when he arrives at jobs he tells folk to return the stuff they have bought and lays the gold.

looking at the photo, i think its the 100lb one.

the stairs will be the hardest hit area mate. simple urle for this is you get what you pay for. if you can afford it get the better one. it will last a number of carpet replacements
