Which HDD in the box?

Hey guys,
I want to rip out the hdd from my sky box that I got with my sub more than 2 years ago to put into one of these:

USB 3.0 - 3.5" High Speed SATA HDD Drive External Caddy Case Enclosure DAX-393U3 | eBay

It's only compatible with sata I and II.

Will this be ok or is it possible that the hdd in the box is Sata III?

I doubt very much that the HDDs are sata3. In any case, aren't they backwards compatible.
