where do i start?

a very good m8 of mine has just given me his psp to see if i can mod it for him,i did my boys years ago so im totaly new to the scean these days. ive just had a look at this and its on 3.73 firmware so could somebody please put me in the right direction on a tut and stuff i need to download to get this onto the latest/best modded firmware please oh also its a 1003 model

my boys psp is on a 3.90 m33-2 firmware if thats any good as thats my next job ie updateing his firmware lol

update his to latest gen firmare and
make pandora to do the other.
or if u wait till downloads are open ,grab the open sourse battery tool ,
and ill help u make one with that.
i think downloads will be open tonite m8.

right then its been years since i touched a psp so how can i update my boys phat psp m8?

use this on xp machine using ur fat then put Digital World Cable Satellite Console Forum - Downloads - Open Source Pandora Battery Tool 0.60

on ur card.that will make pandora for u.

once u get the pandora sorted gees a shout

right then ive got the psp connected to my pc and opened psp grader 8 which has detected my psp, what next do i need to download the 5.0 firmware or not?

with grader 8 on desktop just download the 5.00 firmware eboot and put that on desk top also

wen doing card connect psp to pc
get grader and 5.00 on deaktop ,xp machine
run grader
tick format stick box
left trigger selected
select wat drive ur psp is
then create pandora.

wen card done
put the ospbt_060 folder into game 3.90 or 4.00 watever ur on.
then go to card and run the pandora maker.takes seconds.
when that done test it by removing battery .
hold left trigger in and put battery in and u will get a menu to flash to m33 firmware.

wen all that done get gen d-3 from stickies
and put the files on there onto card
go to card run gend3,select xgen pandora
now u have pandora that will put u onto gend3 straitgh away.
.u can leave card like that if u wish and add games to iso folder
psp will boot normal even with pandora in as long as u use that card.
or u can make batter normal from battery tool or recovery useing gend .

my m8`s psp is all done and now on 5.50d3 firmware as i did a bit of reading this morning and decided on trying out the chickHEN method and all seems to be working fine. But now i want to sort my boys out can i just do the same with my boys to update it or would i have to do it a different way?
