whats the latest version for pda

i`ve got an 02 pda, old one with windows mobile v5. i use it just as a back up tomtom and leave it in the car.
it says its v6.00 on the map screen and gb plus major roads of western europe v650.1046. is there a more up to date version or map? do i need a special one for the touch screen ?

7.9 to be precise in which you can use version 8.15 map. let me know if you need help installing and so on. also, you might want to upgrade to 6.1, that phone runs wm6.1 very well.

I think I have 7.915 on my Axim X5 with the 8.25 maps which is, as far as I know, the latest s/w and maps both of which I got from PPCWarez.
