whats the best quality file that plays from a memory stick onto a samsung tv

I download BRRip.XviD.AC3-EVO , just wondered if there was a better quality file for films that I could put on a memory stick and that will play on my Samsung tv .

I mainly watch/download Movies/Tv shows in H.264 format.
I've tried this format on 5 different Samsung TV's Over 6 Years and hasn't failed me once.

I put all extensions on my USB stick all play fine via my 49ins LG TV Inc's 3D as well
