I agree with you lot - sony lcds are rubbish - although I do have a soft spot for the 40x3500 - pretty nifty model

also the new sonys are engineered by sharp - so hopefully will be a tad better than the previous offerings,

not knocking your LG mate - they are good, reliable, solid and give an absoloutly breathtakingly detailed picture in HD

ok imm finding it hard so far to find plasma's not to mind decent what are philips plasma's like as there seems to be quite a few places selling them but havent seen any panasonic yet

tbh i havent mate as im in the process of getting ready to move house and im going overseas at the end of the month so i was hoping to get my tv in the same place as the cooker fridge washer etc but ill give them a shot and see what they are like
