Hi guys,
Right, I have a Sagem 2x dbox and at moment running NJL5 (very good) but have tried a lot of images.
I have a signal booster connected and I am getting excellent figures for sig and snr.
However, on some channels even though the sig and snr are high, the ber can vary from quite low to quite high. Mainly on the standard channels like bbc1 bbc2 etc. This causes the picture to skip a bit but not squeak as it used to.
Can the signal booster be boosting too much, can signal boosters be dodgy at certain frequencies. Could it be the tuner in the box. I have tried different boosters with no difference, i have checked all cabling and checked settings on dbox with different ucodes etc.
Getting a bit stuck now, could it be an overheating problem, but why only on certain frequencies.
Any thoughts of where to go next chaps.
