Goto the MS webite, enter your machines serial number and they'll sell you a 20Gb one for £12

....although someone said the price has went up.

not true, if you enter your number it usually comes back that your model has enough memory.

i did it with my elite serial.

think its only the arcade and core units serials that will get you one,


unless someone knows different.

Yes but you need a 128mb card. M$ do a memory card exchange for free if you have a 64mb

I got my HD this morning. I had to laugh because M$ haven't bothered to format it, unless the are putting demos, and games on the HD before shipping???? No profile on it though

Very quick turnaround. Only took two days in total to ship from Dusseldorf.
