How do I enable username and password protected entry for the web interface?

Same here on TM Twin running Vix 539. You enable http authentication. But you also have to set the password. To do this, in a telnet session, enter "passwd" ( that is deliberate and not a typo) and you will be prompted to add one if there isn't a password.
