VU+ DUO as Server

Can any one speak from experience as to how good the VU+ DUO is as a server on a home network assuming ideal conditions etc.?
Or is it better to splash out on something a lot more expensive?

Would that be a Dreambox 500s? Would it also serve an HD S*y card?
I live in the land of HD Tecnomates & Eagleboxes (3rd party boxes) with premium subs.
Should this all be compatible?

Aren't the eagleboxes exactly the same as DM's. You could use those.

You can also usea DM500C as a server too.

theres no reason you cannot use your duo, or any other linux receiver, as your server, and share to other receivers in the house. If you sub to HD channels, the card doesnt need to be in a HD receiver for them to clear.
