voices won't work on TT Navigator 6 on PDA

Hi folks,

I'm got tomtom navigator 6 working on my new HTC phone (with windows mobile 6). There are loads of voices install (.chk & .vif files in voices folder on root of card) but none of them work. It shows them in the 'change voices' option but it says 'install from cd or download from www.tomtom.com' over every one and there's no sound.

Done some searching and tried the following...

Deleted the 'collected' file from the Voices folder, still same.
Moved the Voices folder to the Program Files folder but still same.

Any more suggestions?

try them in the tomtom folder on our card, or in the tomtom folder in program files on the PDA

Copied the .chk and .vif files to the TomTom folder on the phone memory and it's working now.

Will have to remember this when i upgrade to TT6?? is it much different to TT5??
