Do any of you have the Dell XPS M1530.
I have installed XP since I bought my XPS M1530 which had Vista pre installed.
Dell do not support XP on the M1530 however there are many forums that have users which have installed XP on it.
Just wanted to know if any of you have, where you got the drivers and how have you found the stability?
I am thinking of installing XP again.
Initally I used my old XP Media edition CD from my old dell laptop which installed fine and didnt install drivers that it didnt find, then I just had to install all the drivers manually.
Its worked upto this point but it tends to lag at points with video's and mp3s. Also sometimes when process apps.
I have the 2.4Ghz processor and 4gig ram.
