I'm in the west midlands connected to the Wolverhampton server, this past week my speed has been shit, and all i get from help line is reboot your router bla bla, told them so many time I have done that. please post if you have same problem.

anyway its got that bad my son has arranged to have BT install for £29 a month for 33 to 50mb line, if thats better VM can **** off just had enough.

Unusual for VM to be really bad @Napster. Have you tried the Thinkbroadband Quality Monitor? Might be worth it to see if it changes during the day, that might indicate an oversubscribed node.

VM give you a few Mb/s over the speed they bill you for so it's more likely that you'll hit the advertised speed. M350 is 362Mb/s etc.

Usually when you contact Virgin you will receive an email from a firm acting on their behalf asking how your experience was and how likely you are to recommend their services to friends and family. If you get one then score them the worst possible.

I did this and then received a phone call asking me why I scored them so badly. They dropped my sub by £14 a month for 18 months and asked me if I could give them a favourable score which I did. ;)

contact VM and get put through to the cancellation department, tell them your problem, the other people you speak to are just a joke, the only ones that can help you are the cancellation team

I was with VM for the last 15 years. The price for BB and phone line had reached £60 a month. My brother saw a deal on the Martin Lewis show with the Post Office (£15 a month all in) we switched a few weeks back. I thought, this is going to be crap in comparison (around 10meg) I haven't noticed any real difference (maybe a little latency) :)
I suppose it depends what your going to be using it for. I just do a bit of surfing/ music via Alexa/ radio via Google home, and a little bit of IPTV
