V+ Help Changing Pin

Hi
I have a ****** V+ box. How can I change the pin ?? I dont know the orginal one. Ive tried all the default ones 0000 etc ??

I think the default pin is 1234 m8 as thats wat ours is and have never changed it If that doesnt work u will have too fone ******

not sure that you can with out lifting the chip and reseting the whole box m80 sorry

Twobeercans made a small app called SA8300 dump editor.exe.

You would need to read the dump from the 512 chip and run it through the editor, it will then give your pin number as well as other data. Resolder the chip and you're back up and running again.

Thanks for all your help dont really fancy lifting any chips, not very good at soldering, Just have to leave it.
