usb on amiko

Hi all , Do I need a specific usb stick for the 8900shd as the one I have isn't being read by the receiver.
been trying to install plug-ins but nothing happening

Might just need formatting (to FAT32), I use pretty much any old USB sick for updating boxes of all types (inc Amikos) and never had any issues.

My Alien was fussy with usb sticks (they recommend Kingston) when formatting with the windows format tool but using the HP format tool it recognised all of my cheepo usb sticks. Just google HP usb format tool its a free to download and use.
