Just got a U.S version Wii sports pack, are these region locked? if so how do I go about getting games

Yes they are region locked but you shouldn't have any trouble finding places selling import games online. Google is your friend.

Datel have also anounced they are looking into making a Wii Freeloader. They say if it is possible then they will do it. Untill then though... Ebay is a good source of import games, dont use importmadness.co.uk though, they sold me a second hand game as brand new.

Used them when I had a PSP - some stuff came next day aswell.

I need to get a usa - uk step down transformer 220v to 110v

Has anyone else here have a US version Wii? I've heard that the internet will not work here in the UK as it will not work with the UK ISPs

I've not tried mine yet as my wirless router is not in range of the Wii

In this article at Nintendo Life they say the only thing that didn't work was using your credit card to buy points on the shopping channel. And that was fixed by setting your location country to Brazil, so I don't think there's a UK ISP issue.

Let us know how you get on when you've tried it.

Just got it working, so all looks ok

not tried any to purchase any points though, just downloaded the free browser
