VU+ Solo Upgrading VU+ Solo

Hi,

I am new to the whole VU+ thing!

How do I know what image I can use on My VU+ Solo box

I cannot install TSMedia 4.9 as it says oe2.0 error but can install 4.8 as it is oe1.6

I am reading about blackhole versions but am not sure which one I can upgrade to without breaking the box!

Well you see I am not sure!
How can I tell?
It says VU+ solo on the front but is this the best way of knowing

is the a sticker on the bottom with v1 v2 v3

No v1 v2 v3 just BN number and SN number!

OK so I downloaded the Black Hole 2.0.7.1​ for Vu+ Solo
Extracted to USB(Fat format) and booted the box
Waited for the flashing green light and then rebooted the box

unfortunately there is now no signal from the box


Did I miss a step?

VU box green light on but no signal to TV i.e. just blank tv screen

no boot screen or nothing

originally no I had the 3 files in the vusolo folder!

Unzip the solo_cfe_2.0_usb.zip to USB stick There should be /vuplus/solo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin Insert USB stick into the USB port of solo and power on the box It takes just a few secs to update

you will need flash bootloader first and then image

After trying numerous images the box is booting up and getting black screen on tv!
After about 5 minutes the box reboots and same again!

Any help please or am I looking at a large paperweight?
