uninstalling IE8

how do i go about this in win XP home, i have looked in add and remove i can see it but dont have option to uninstall it.
 
Try the advanced uninstall:

tried that m8 is says it cant find path specified

will a system restore do it nap before you installed it then in updates choose custom rather than express
 
i got an issue with the dw header on my netbook its hangs over to the right, was going to remove it and try IE7 see if DW was ok with that, have tried firefox and DW is fine, but not to keen on firefox.
 
cheers will check that out, not sure if service pack 3 is on or not

Oops, just checked another KB article. If you installed SP3 after you installed IE8 you cannot rollback IE without uninstalling SP3 first!

That would be typical of something only MS could think of lp, doing everything to make sure you have their product on you machine!
