TV and Sat distribution for new build

Makes no real difference if its in the room or cupboard then really because there will be a feed in each room anyway. What I might do is have one in a cupboard to feed all around the house over hdmi say "hdmi 3" on tv set then main box in living room which will be independent.

Then if anyone wants they can add multiroom pack to their room or get a freesat tuner... I havent got a huge budget so want to keep cost down but need to get wiring right.

Still got a figure out telephone system, probz just end up with one main master socket and feed extensions around the house and use cordless phones although some sort of voip/intercom system would be cool lol

Thanks for all the help so far guys :)

By having a central hub where all cables come back to gives you many options. The Cable Intrastructure is the most important Part! Boxes and location can be changed easily Cables can't.

Telecoms easy runs over Cat5e so you just patch to whatever location even a second line! Thats why Master Socket (Main In Cable) should be in central Hub with patch bay.

You could say have a Sky+ box in the cupboard where you do recordings that could then be shared around from a single box.
