Tuner OK or not OK ?

Hi I recently did bye a apparently defective dm800 (clone). the tuner is recognized, but I get "signal not found" in all cheannels, The tuner is 801A rev M.
Is there sometging I shoult look to repair it?

Have you checked that tuner settings on box are correct right satellite etc
Have you checked all connections from dish are good.
Are you using the latest channel lists with latest frequencies.
Also it could be caused by a faulty PSU

Yes. I did check everything, I have the same setup of another different dm800 (clone) and other decoders, but only this tuner gives me such problems. I even switch tuner with another one and was OK, but the APs rev M won't work
 
if you switched tuner & it was ok then i think you have your answer

Maybe I espress myself not in the correct way. What I mean is that when I switched tuner, the good one was working in both decoders, the bad one in none.
 
Well, I checked the tuner and saw a small component unsoldered, I fixed and now the tuner is OK.
It is a god advise to double check before buying new product.
