TS Media Plugin

I have a cloud ibox which I have successfully setup using openvix.
I was told the TSmedia plugin 7.9 is an old one and I should upgrade to 8.6.
Am I ok to do this.

yes just update to the latest

TS media software update only showing update to 7.99.
Can I download 8.6 and drop it in.

Its ok.
After updating to 7.99 it now gives me the option to update to 8.6.

Run this command and try again

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

If it fails what image are you running ?

All went ok then I got this error message when running the last command.


* wfopen: /tmp/*.ipk: No such file or directory.
* pkg_init_from_file: Failed to extract control file from /tmp/*.ipk.

If you have a VPN account you can use openvpn on the box and and just ftp your configuration files over to it
