Trying to mod my wii 4.2e

Hi,

I tried modding my wii using Youtube ([ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ21tcTbNLc&feature=related]YouTube - play wii backups on wii version 4.2 (Part 1)[/ame]), however that did not work so looked on the digitalworldz site for help and found the article by bennyben - I have no idea why i just did not come here is the first place, that was my mistake.

However, when I get to instruction number 17 (click load bootmii), my wii does nothing. All that happens is the LED around the CD drive flashes constantly and the TV is black.

Any ideas what I have done wrong, or can I "format" the wii and start again.

I think the youtube video that I was following has something to do with this, but no idea what as I am a newbie tyring to mod the wii.

I have 2 kids screaming at me to try and get it working, so any help would be much appreciated.

Try copying the Bootmii files to another SD card.

Take the SD card out does it boot to the normal menu?

Also if you loaded preloader press and hold reset see if you can get back in to the menu / Homebrew from there?
