Hi everyone,

I find the Manual for the TM difficult to understand, could someone please post a plain English instruction on how to add a new Satellite.

Thanks.

queque.

Hi queque,

The following guide 'Adding a new satellite position' is taken from my 'Read Me' file contained within...

Lyngsat Sub-Addresses for NDFEdit 1.66
KingOfSat Sub-Addresses for NDFEdit 1.66

Adding a new satellite position TM 5402 HD (should apply to other models also)

Press Menu
Installation
Press OK
Satellite Setup
Press OK
Satellite
Press OK
Drop-down box appears
Scroll down to an empty (0.0E) satellite position
Press OK
Press Green
Use on-screen keyboard to name new satellite position
Press Exit
Press Yellow to save new satellite position
Press Exit
Scroll down to Motorized Setting
Press OK
Scroll down to DiSEqC Motor
Press OK
Drop-down box appears
Select USALS (unless you already use this system)
Scroll down to Sat Degree
Enter new East or West (degrees) position
Press Exit
Select Yes to Settings were changed - Do you want to save?
Go back into Motorized Setting
Change USALS back to DiSEqC Motor 1.2 (if you do not use USALS)
Press Exit
Select Yes to Settings were changed - Do you want to save?
Exit all menus

NB
Unfortunately... the only way to move a new satellite position to it's correct position within your satellite list is by using NDFEdit 1.66

Moving a new satellite position using NDFEditor 1.66

Simply save a new .CNDF file to your USB flash drive... open the .CNDF file in NDFEdit 1.66... locate your new satellite position (you want to move) in the list... click on and hold down 'left-click' and drag the new satellite position to the correct position in the list... then use my 'Lyngsat/KingOfSat Sub-Addresses' file to populate the new satellite position with the latest transponder frequencies... then click on the 'Save' button... exit the Editor and re-load the updated .CNDF file to your receiver...

If you wish to download NDFEdit 1.66 it can be found here...
