TM5402HD MK2 loses connection on standby unless IP address is changed

I have a problem with my new box bought a couple of weeks ago, a TM5402HD MK2. If I give it a fixed IP address it will not re-connect when put into and brought out of standby. I have to go to the IP setting and change the address by one digit before it will re-connect to my network. Also if I try to use DHCP this never connects. It populates the last two fields correctly with my router address but the sub net mask is always 255.0.0.0 instead of 255.255.255.0 and the IP address is always 0.0.0.0. I am using 1.10p and addon 2, although it it done this will all other firmware tried. I have two other boxes which I can plug the network cable into, a Humax and a Protek 9700HD and neither have this problem. Has anyone else had this problem? I have trawled many forums looking for an answer before making this post but no success. Thanks.
