i have a tm500 super box with Linux version 2.6.9, firmware release 2.0.2, ..4. the problem is whenever i try to use the remote, it takes quite a while for the box to respond. i may have to keep pressing the keys quite a few times before i get a response, then it works fine but if i don't use the remote for a while, then the same thing happens again. the other thing i want to ask is after installing an image on the box, when i check the settings with tcc, there is no boot loader installed. is this required because the box works fine without it. i can change the images and everything. also when trying to install the blue panel, i get a "xml parse error" on the screen. why is that? i'm sorry for too many questions but i still getting my head round all this and learning at the same time. it could be i am missing something simple or not doing it right but would appreciate any advise on this.
