In This Thread is a DW Modifcation with extra plugins already installed inc Rytek 3D looking EPG
bouquets pre installed etc based on UR_ last release
imo your better off getting the DW Modified from link above mate

download the file from here

Technomate software online

its compressed in rar format, so unpack it directly onto a memory stick, not into any folders, directly onto the stick, so if you open the stick in 'my computer' you see the uncompresed file TM800_update.bin

wait for it to copy to the stick, then insert the stick into your receiver, and turn off the power switch on the rear of the receiver. turn the power on, while repeatedly pressing the standby button on the front of the receiver, itll say 'TECHNOMATE' IN THE DISPLAY, AND AFTER 3 SECONDS, WILL CHANGE TO 'MINIROOT' (soz caps lol)

wait for an IP address, then on the front of the receiver, press the MENU button, and itll start flashing

is the display changes to STARTING instead of miniroot, turn the power off and start again

All tears dried and ready for action!

Could have been corrupted file
or the USB stick (I've now changed to another)
Scanners working instead of cogs, TV's back on with new display on screen.
Do I need to do factory reset
Or can I just go to the loo cause I'm so excited

you need tochange the tunerconfgiuration m8, in the services menu, change it from single to positioneror diseqc

what Image do you want installed ?
this one or the DW Modifird one ?

Not on windows you don't it will already be a .bin file and if you name it tm800_update.bin it will be tm800_update.bin.bin.

I leave mine just named TM800_UPDATE works like a charm.

I added lots of foreign channels to Rat's bouquets but lost them all!

Use either dboxedit or dreamset to save all the changes you make to bouquets etc so that you can replace them after reflashing.

I am using image 8-1-11 with WD 500 GB internal hard disk no problem
it was fitted by tm
rewind forward recording full PVR is working ok for me
best way for you to contact tm and get advise which hard disk or how to install it:Clap:

I can not see any major issue with my tm800 after jtag and full installation by tm with wifi and hard disk working better then ever
if you had issue you do not have it now .
your biggest issue is what you change it with ???? :Fish:

DR Linux, can you post the results of a "hdparm -I /dev/sda" and an "hdparm -Tt /dev/sda" for your box so I can compare configuration. I am aware of numerous owners with the 8-1-2011 image who are still having problems. I, for one, configured my disk in the box and have fast foreward green screens and freezes.

I assume your disk shows up as /dev/sda.
