Is it possible we can ask the UR team to implement the "keep old settngs option" that the DW images have so that we do not have to enter c lines again etc.

Additionally, when trying to replay a recorded file, there is one file on the playlist that I did not record. (20100815 0021 - das ersle HD bis zum letzten tropfen.ts) Could someone advise how to remove this file from the playlist. Is it part of the image?

Also, when I select media, pressing ok on the file adds it to the playlist rather than start playing. I managed to drop down the window by pressing "prov." It then played.

Just found that the playlist is called "playlist.e2pls" located in \etc\enigma2\

I deleted the contents of the file and transferred it back to the STB. When I press ok on a file it then plays rather than drop to the bottom part of the screen.

Trying to update it to the one here? (Without success)
If I do use this image do I then overwrite it with the one Digidude has on today with
better EPG ???

yeah you can just put Digi's new one on a usb stick
power off box from rear
power on pressing standby on front of box repetitively until you see miniroot in display
when you see an IP in display press menu on front of box
this will then flash and reboot

Was trying to find miniroot with remote control not STB.

Found miniroot but STB but saying Fail no file??
Can't seem ti find it on USB

any ideas??

make sure the file is called TM800_update.bin and is on the root of the memory stick
no in a folder or anything

Opened USB stick single file named: 10_TM800_update

changed it to: TM800_update.bin

still saying Fail-No File

With Digidudes download do I have to open onto USB stick?

Help please?

open onto it or drag it onto stick from desktop dont really matter tbh mate
as long as its named TM800_update on the root of the mem stick should be fine

is there anything else on the stick that could be confussing the matter ?

Nothing on stick to confuse it, already checked.

It shows as a VCL Bin file, is that okay?

you have been trying to flash via usb

you can try via miniweb check the link in my previous post mate

also do you have another mem stick to try ?

you 100% sure the file name is right

i have had this b4 mate, to solve try format the usb stick in windows first.

if doesnt help try another usb.

but the second with the EPG etc was a .rar which I have uncompressed.
Can I try updating the second file first? or do they have to be in order.

THIS IMAGE IS NAMED WRONG!

Change it from "10_TM800_update" TO "TM800_update" without the qoutes.

Then stick it on the root of a fat 32 usb stick put that in front usb slot of the TM800 and then power off/on from the back whilst tapping the power button on the front till you see MINIROOT. Wait about 10 seconds then press menu to flash.

To: TM800_update.bin

will try renaming without .bin

I was trying to install this one by Digidude.
Below list fixed
1-G wifi router
2-PVR
3-Cam d 3
4-Static ip display
5- Lip sync
6-Enhanced performance of channel change and inside menus

and he also posted a later one with epg improved.
