TM-5402 Not recording If Selected From Epg

hi folks I have a problem where if I set a record thru the epg it shows it is selected but does not record ive been thru the settings just wondering if their is a setting I have missed this has just only started happening past couple of weeks

SW v 1.42 Jul 9 2014
HW v 1.00
Boot v 5.00
CH v Mar 13

ive gone over & over the settings formatted the drive thru the menu
tried a new drive still same results started too pull me hair out now
would be gratefull if anyone could point me in the right direction I must be doing or missing something

Have you reset the time for winter instead of summer saving time, do you do it from epg the red button then select what you want then put receiver in standby,works for me doesn't always work if not on standby
