TM-5402 HD epg frustrating

Got my self one of these boxes
works well can`t fault that but man i didn`t reckon on the epg
my fault i guess shoulda done more digging
i done the epg thingy ok but it loses it time and again
dont see a way around it
gotta just keep populating it unless some one comes up with a solution
of course i`m a newbie so dont know for sure if it will be fixed

which version of the 5402 MK1/2 or a MK3, if the latter then the EPG should save to a usb stick the other versions stored it in Ram until you switched the machine to standby

Tend to leave my M2 switched on, mind it only a takes a minute or so to download again.
