Personally, I think 65 should be end of car driving - end of. That gives me 7 years and right now I think that will be about right.

Hopefully I'll have the sense to ditch the motor before I get like me neighbour who is dangerous just bleeding walking...

Oh good for you then!! I'll be 65 this year and as I've never been in an accident, received any tickets, dont use a mobile when driving, dont drive after drinking you think I should no longer be able to drive?
Were not all decrepit at 65 some get there at 58!! do leave off, take a look at insurance rates linked to age and then you will see who needs their licence taken away.
