I was completely unaware that some parts of The Crown were complete fiction or used artistic licence. In fact I was completely unaware that it was a dramatization and purported to be inspired by true events.
I believed it was a reality show performed by real members of the Royal Family.
Thank God they intervened and opened mine and millions of others eyes to the truth. No wonder she's the Head of MI6!!
On a serious note, I have just seen her portray a type of Spymaster in the MoneySuperSeven advert. I failed to see any disclaimer saying it was a work of fiction. Maybe the writers just felt we had an ounce of commonsense and could tell the difference ourselves.
