tftp time out help

all i am getting in terminal is
while i am doing ambit 200 after intering the 192.168.100.10 then 13.5.steath.bin then enter it keep coming tftp time out i am using tftp from same folder where i have that bin file??????????????????????????????any help please my system is xp

Hey guys this is the Cable Tutorials section try asking in the Cable Modem section for help also try the search option ive seen a few posts about that might help you both out a little can't remember what they was called now other wise i would point them out to ya sorry.

have you disabled any other network adpaters (wireless etc) when using hyperterminal?

What version of SolarWinds-TFTP-Server are you running ?

I checked my notes and found that i tried version 9 & 8 and found that version 8 worked for me in XP Pro the best but also used TFTPD32 v2.80 that worked for me on both xp & win2k.

i had a similar issue before, make sure you dont have any pda's or phone plugged into the pc, they also use the network protocol. Disable wireless, Unplug any of those devices reboot and it should work, as long as you are following the instructions.

also make sure you have the file name right
