thanks for the tips.. The original software removed the BISS submenu so no use for me on 27.5. I'll try that HDMI/PCM tip a bit later. Kiddies got the box for now. thanks all!

Of course no official sw will have biss/cas menu.

HI again, still no luck with 112p after re-scan and toggling sound options. But 118p seem to work just fine now with recording HD. Just the time shift is not 100%. ie, it loses the biss keys after activating it.. I can live with that. Will continue to test when I get some more time. Thanks all
