My mate has an ipad running ios 8.1.2 which i am almost certain was updated to that version OTA. He wants to jailbreak so that he can install kodi via cydia.
Since I cannot restore 8.1.2 via itunes as it is no longer being signed, is it possible to use the Taig 8.1.2 jailbreak tool with the device in it's current state ( software update via device OTA ) or will it potentially cause harm ?
I don't mind messing with my own devices but when it comes to other peoples' I get scared !!
