Software Software to burn a mp3 with a cdg karaoki files

I need some free non trial software to be able to burn these to a disc to play in a karaoke machine
I don't think or know if my dvd writer will support a straight burn so i might have to convert the files to cue and bin so i can burn as a vcd
Any info would be appreciated

A long long time ago (Ca. 2000) a friend who did karaoke needed some CDG's "backed up" (copied!) and he informed me that only Yamaha CD writers could do the job. As it happened I had one & it worked without any persuasion. What I suspect is that was perhaps Yamaha's bundled s/w that did the trick. Whether that applies to burning from HD too I don't know but might be worth a look- even if just to see what s/w they use.

also to add, i only use my laptop now. burning cdg used to be a pain as it required specific burners. even then the success rate was poor. lots of fallout and coasters. in the end i just download and play using sax n dottys show hoster. there is also free zip karaoke players including plugins from winamp.

Used to use a plextor to burn CD & G back about 10 years ago. Wasnt there a tool inbuilt to nero that told you if your writer would burn CD & G discs

i had no idea how to do it, but asked for help on here..
