i have a playstation 5 whats the best software to convert a file to play on th ps5 please

i am going to put the file on a external hardrive then connect that to the ps5 . whats the best software to use to convert the file to a mkv or mp4 [im thinking thats the only files it willl play a movie on the ps5] that wont take ages in converting it please .

No used this for years but sure this was always good and free

above one of the many free options to use fella but i would take a look at your computer as no reason should not work fine either on download or install
