Sofa Insurance

Got a sofa a couple of years ago and took out insurance with it. We have recently made a claim but they are pissing about something cronick.

To start they they said it was sold to me with my fisrt initial as M instead of N so I need to send proof that my firts initail is infact N so I sent them a phone bill. Since then I have heard nothing despite two emails asking wether they recieved the phone bill.

What I want to know is as this was sold to me with the wrong initial and as they are messing me about can I claim my money back as this was mis-sold to me in the irst place??

Any advice guys?

the only point is a technical one really, the contract they sent you was not correct.

However, if you have been paying for the insurance on time, they have no choice but to honour it. Just send them a letter (keep a copy for yourself) recorded asking when the claim will be processed.
