what about them?

its not that the satellite mods wont help out with cable issues, one mod lives in a welsh valley where the only cables there have a light bulb in the end and the other lives in southern spain (and i dont think NTL or TW have got that far yet)

has anyone heard of the so called german card !!

the word on the street is that !! quote " it goes in the box and removes the code recognition from the main system and therefore the box thinks its working fine --
no codes required !!! ( then it open fully !!!!)

I have left messages with various people to make further enquires !!!

has anyone else heard about this ??

Havent sky offered a million to anyone who cracks there system ,i reckon if any one found a full blown crack they would take the money and keep their mouth shut rather than release it.......lol

its worth more than a million to the cam firms, think how much theyd make selling a cam that emulates everything

its just a rumour that sky offered a million, and not true. They do realise their system is hackable, but just as secure as it can be. With their team of specialist spy's they will always know of a hack before we do. The cards were replaced last time because of minor hacks and MOSC's, but they were never public. If you have a hack, you can still become a millionaire, but just dont go to sky, or release a smartcard file.
Digidude is right that if a CAM manufacturer could emulate a Sky CAM it could be worth multi millions to them. The smartcard may eventually be hackable, but whats the point when they just get replaced, so not so much value. Future hacks will be in different form to the historic 'fake smartcards', as the effort is too great/expensive for the return.
I'm sure the 'German card' will end up being another scam from its inventor. Scamming is better business than releasing a real pirate smartcard.

anyway as for sky not been cracked !!
somebody out there must have done it !!!
there was a guy that made his own boxes !!!
he made a mint ---- he sold them for 5k -- yes 5k
but he was a genious with an ic - he makes his own !!!
he left the country now -- for a while though !!!
he will be back in a couple of years when the heat dies down !!!

5K for a cracked box that would be years befor it became worth it.....even at say £50 a month.

that box would need to work for at least 10 years trouble free to be worth the money. in the last 2 years the boxes have changes so much that its be one of the slowest boxes around.
