I've been looking at the new Twin driver behaviour just to see wtf is going on when designing a skin...
When the Twin receives a 544 x 576i25 4:3 broadcast, the twin skin shows 4:3 as it's the base icon image
(in other words, it doesn't overlay the 16:9 or HD icons which is correct)
ALL outputs however are stuck in 16:9 mode (scart pin8 should = 12v [it's 6v] and HDMI should = pillarbox [its 16:9])
[& yes "WSS on 4:3" was disabled, "Aspect" was on auto and "Display 4:3 as Pillarbox" was set]
Move to a 544/720 x 576i25 16:9 broadcast and nothing changes. (the Twin is stuck in 16:9 mode remember)
[post#7 in the new 4D thread is wrong, it's the skin that's stuck in 4:3 mode]
Obviously, the 16:9 icon should replace the 4:3 icon here (but it doesn't)
The following skin code does nothing:
When moving to an 1920x1080i25 HD broadcast, the HD icon fails to show either

I don't think the problem lies with the ServiceInfo.pyo as things like isCrypted and HasTelext work ok :?
Has anyone found a skin that has a working 16:9 and/or HD icon?
[does anybody have another pyo or skin.xml that works]
The service info menu correctly shows 4:3 or 16:9, but the Twin is unable to control the skin or the outputs to match
Maybe TM will read this and sort it, but then again, maybe I'll win the lottery tonight lol
