stuck the above on a new 800
with bootloader 76 ,sim 2.01
and it looks very good.

my 2 old 800s have bootloader 72 sim 2.01
can i use same image ,is it patched with bootloader?

yes it is m8. As long as they have sim 2.01 you r fine

great image mate, best out of them in my eyes, and yes your fine as mark says as the bootloader is incorporated into the flashing process!

done my 1st box fine but 2nd one is fooked
get this using null modem
wont flash via ethernet.

you can flash them from the web browser mate, much better and quicker, have you tried that yet, unplug box then hold power button untill you see a ip address come up on front screen, then type it into address bar of browser, sometimes it can take a couple of minutes to connect so leave it for abit, but the page should come up, i found internet explorer to be best when i had problems last week!

i normally do them web browser
but all i get is error no ca found

patched dreamup i get file too big.

weird mate as it should just be booting the bootloader from within the image, have you tried flashing a bootloader seperate after flashing the image itself!

everything ive tried so far i get file too big crap

ok so far if i connect via null modem
wait a few mins until ip appears on screen
above serial mode.
then with ethernet also connected enter that ip in browser
it takes me two upgrade page,and lets me flash
secondstage-dm800-69,nfi (wont let me do 76 nfi)
ive tried this a few times and it brings box back alive


do u think this image will be ok with that boot loader or where can i get
newer one that will run it ?
76 nfi dont seem to work on this.

it sounds like a sim2 box. remove the sim and check what it looks like / says on it

The ones I have are 69 which works
And 76 which don't .

right guys ive got it running older image

problem is network seems fine
but cant download cams.
ive tried to take off other box using filezilla
and dropping them into this box but on pressing blue
to select cams it do give me option to change.
im stuck on commo interface .

any ideas guys?

that will work also
