setting up c/s server for friends & family to share?

Hi Peeps,

as per title, i'm after setting up a server using a DM to allow friends and family to share as there will be about 12-15 ppl using it, it will be cost effective.

I know that i am going to need a DM Box to act as server, would i be able to use my own or would it be better to use a stand alone one just for c/s purpose??

I have read that i will need a smargo+ reader for the s** card, i have a router and 20mb broadband.

I'm looking for the simplest way to get this up and running and want it to be reliable, ie, glitch free, and people not having problems etc.

I'm not too bothered about making it over secure as these people are trusted and only one other person who has about much knowledge as myself is keen to learn more.

Any help/advice is much apreciated

you not got any 500c's from the cable days knocking around, they work great as a server, and if you have you can use the card reader in that running cccam or the likes to share to yourself and all your clients.
