Serious New Comer Need Help

Hi folks,
Sorry for sounding like a complete ding bat, but I am totally confused here.

My box was set up on a motorized dish with viewing from an provider. Now this provider has since closed.

I can still go into menu and see all the channels etc etc , but how do I add my new providers info as in Host IP, CCcam post and SID, totally confused

Also how do I add a 7 day EPG, not as in load this and that's it, I mean, from start to finish, do I need to connect my laptop to the box? were do I upload my files too

As I said sorry if I sound silly but first time I have done this - have to start somewhere

Welcome to the forum. The TM800 is an abandoned receiver. Teh latest versions of TM receivers do not ahve teh issues the receiver has. You are better off getting another receiver.

Should you wish to persist, normal thing to do is to edit the files on the receiver using FTP programs such as Filezilla client, DCC, VuCC. This is what people do on almost all E2 receivers.

The TM800 does have the miniweb should you wish to use it. It was a sticky guide.

HI ya,
I plugged the laptop into the box last night and got the "IQ Control Web" but could not see anywhere to upload or change files - how do I do this??
I want to play with this one so If I mess it up im not that worried as you say i may need a new one, but want to know how to get round round want i want to do
