Calm down there now NJ, chill with the still. Remember scooby, and where he lives.

bush meat is pretty tough, its best stewed.

My parents told me about a story of when they lived in africa. They were travelling in the middle of nowhere and the bus ran over an antelope which the locals promptly picked up and threw on top of the bus. At the next stop they lit up a fire and bbq the thing.

I guess it gives a new meaning to the word road kill.
Thats not bush meat, or not what I class as bush meat. I mean primates and stuff. I would have no problem eating that antelope, in fact I may even order some antelope steaks. Yummie!

Come now Joe, no need for that... I think a few things were probably lost in translation and a few people took it the wrong way... No need to polevolt over a mouse dropping... Just keep talking about dolphins and ignore certain members or even better add them to your ignore list in the control panel!

OK, I generally take bush meat to mean anything living wild and not domesticated.

Is there a particular issue with primates being dangerous aside from endangerment and that are more closesly linked to humans.

OK, persoanlly I would give it a miss as well.

I don't understand with all these people bringing it with them on the plane and stuff. I can understand about missing favourite foods and that certain events it is a big 'show' if you can serve bush meat. But still seems a crazy thing to do.

Why do people get their knickers in a bunch when it's dolphins?

No-one bats an eyelid when it's cows, sheep, fish or chickens.

From Hedweb

I'm off for a tuna sammitch, and if there's some dolphin bits in it, then all the better...yummy.
cows sheep and (some fish) are farmed by us, (sustainable) and killed humainley, dolphins arn't

Well I agree with Noodles on this one...fooking disgrace what goes on at Taiji.
Most people in Japan don't have any idea that the dolphin slaughter is even happening there.

We truly don't understand how intelligent dolphins are and we should do all we can to protect and learn from them.
Have a look at this vid:

YouTube - Dolphin play bubble rings

That is highly sentient behaviour for them to be doing that by the way.

They are probably far most intelligent than some of the people here posting their replies.

Someone asked this question:

"I would have thought that the dolphins who were trapped would at least emit a particularly loud sonar warning, letting their other dolphin friends on the outside of the cordon know that there was impending danger there."

They will but a dolphin pod is highly intelligent and family orientated. They will never leave an injured dolphin even if it means putting themselves in mortal danger by doing so.

Its truly heartbreaking to think what they do to these animals.

Let's move before they raise the parking rate.
what a d**K you are enough said.
you dont have a glue do ya?

ive never eatin any fish not even fish fingers/fish cake nothing means nothing.
Personal insults? Nice.

Fish is also known as brain food, so I find the fact that you have never eaten fish completely believable, no argument here.
beef/lamb/chicken/pork etc all manmade food ie
i mean they are born to be eatin they are not wild animals,
from day one they are food cos they are breed as food dolphins are not,
nor are dogs cats bears etc,
maltese make my sick because they shoot birds just for pleasure...sick they are.
So if we commercially farm Dolphins, then that'd make it OK?
Horse is farmed for food, in Malta I believe. Why not make your stand closer to your home, or do you support the slaughter of horse for food?

Seedy_r0m this is a post to save dolphins so why put ya nose in were it is not wanted??
ya looking for attention? or just trying to stir?? grow up or go and post on the bnp page,
there full of melons like yaself on there site.
More personal insults? tut tut tut.

How many Dolphins have you saved since you posted?

Cool, I never knew that the BNP support killing of Dolphins.
Would that be the Brits for the Neutralization of Porpoises?
